Head Wrap = Hair Clothes
Every year for Christmas my bestest friends and I pull names for Secret Santa. My Soror/bestie made me the cutest head wrap as one of my gifts. The print is leopard. When I put it on it actually felt as though I was dressing my hair up in its own little outfit:~). My hair had an OOTD lol! I got lots of compliments on it when I wore it.

Crochet Braids - Soft Dread
My sister wanted to put crochet braids in my hair so who am I to object:~) We used Soft Dread 100% Toyokalon by Biba Natural Hair, which by the way I had never seen before. Just stumbled upon it. I was actually looking for some type of bohemian curl hair. 3 packs of the soft dread = big hair...I like big hair! The hair is very soft and VERY natural looking. Even with 3 packs it's extremely light. Each "dread" can be easily separated into 4 pieces when you're preparing to install the hair. I've had it in for 1 month and it still looks great!

Pinterest Pinspiration...
I saw a cute springtime outfit posted by a friend via Polyvore onto Pinterest.
Then I remembered I had a floral print high-low skirt I bought for no more than $5 at Steinmart last year. Paired it with a white t-shirt embellished with gold (TJ Maxx), open-toe gold flats (Lucky Brand) and a jean shirt/jacket I've had for a million years.

Havana Twists
New protective style time...yes!!! I have been wanting the Havana twist style since I first laid eyes on it via the fingercomber.com website. I like big hair so these big twists are perfect.
Now...I am by no means a hair stylist, braider, etc. so whenever I try a new style I have to watch several YouTube videos to know what to do. Donedo05 has a great tutorial: http://youtu.be/0qQwwiGVEV8.
She did her twists using marley braiding hair. You can also do them using the Havana hair on fingercomber.com (I may try that next time to compare the 2 hair types).
I cut the marley hair in half to make the length shorter. RESULTS:
