So...in my mind I was thinking about purchasing these black patent leather wedges by Louis Vuitton...

In the real world...I bought these cute wedges by Aerosole for $29.99 at Tj Maxx. They are SOOOOO comfortable!

Re-grow

Quick tip of the day: Don't throw out your green onion when it's gone. Instead put them in a cup or any container, fill to cover roots with water, and put it somewhere in your house where it can get some light. The onions will grow back and you can use them again.

Goodwill Toward Men

Trying to go to the GW (Goodwill) more often. More time is spent looking through rows and rows and racks and racks; but less money is spent at the register.

I found a basic v-neck shirt in black with a cute rhinestone embellishment around the neck. Good by itself or paired with a jacket or blazer.

Also found some nice gently used shoes: gray and black patent leather Mary Janes, black Sam & Libby heels & gray suede Nine West pumps. That makes me smile:~)

All Na-tu-ral

Twist out on natural hair. This is one of the styles I had while my hair was between protective styles. Also tried a couple hats (trying to make myself like them more) and my usual afro puff style. The hat was a steal at Lane Bryant.

Twists

I let my hair breathe for about 2 weeks; now it's back in hibernation for the winter. DIY spring twists / puffy twists. I needed Freetress Afro puff hair, YouTube, and 2 days:~). FYI - if you twist in the wrong direction they will not turn out right.

Lovely Delta Shirt...

LOVE THIS afro themed t-shirt for DST! We just celebrated our 99th year on Jan. 13th. My friend/soror received it from her husband & now I am coveting it. Trying to see if I can wait until March (bday month:~) and suggest it as a gift. DELTA SIGMA THETA!!!
